About Us

The Rhythm Group, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, which was founded in 2011 by
music industry professionals from the Tri State Area who are committed to building selfworth in
young people, and who also believe in the ability to transform economically disenfranchised
communities through artistry development, leadership development, money management
education, and entrepreneurial training programs.

    What We Do

             Celebrate Self Worth
Every young person is beautiful, gifted and has the ability to be successful. We teach
youth to see the best in themselves. We help youth identify and maximize their
strengths. We join them in celebrating their unique value and successes.

             Provide Leadership Training
Strong leadership skills are essential for success. We teach youth the importance of
responsibility, respect, teammanship, communicating clearly, and contributing to their
local and global communities. We emphasize the importance of strength of character.

             Develop Artistry
If young people have an interest in the arts, particularly music, we help them develop
their artistry and the business acumen required to successfully manage it. We
emphasize worth ethic, persistence, and the willingness to be life-long students of their
             craft.

             Entrepreneurship Education
It is never too early to instill in youth an entrepreneurial mindset. We believe young
people are the most creative beings on the planet but they typically need direction on
how to make their creativity work for them in lasting, positive, life changing ways. We
teach our youth to turn their creative ideas into actions. We discuss innovation, risk-
taking, and project management. Together with mentors, our students learn how to
start projects and see them through to successful completion.

We accomplish these teaching objectives through 5-week classes; an annual weekend-long
conference, year-round mentorship, inspirational lifecoaching sessions, and other well-
balanced activities.
